LEONARDTOWN, MD – The Historic Preservation Commission is accepting nominations for outstanding achievements in Historic Preservation in St. Mary’s County within three categories of awards: Preservation Project Award, Preservation Service Award, and Lifetime Achievement Awards. The awards recognize groups, individuals, and projects that further the aims of historic preservation in St. Mary’s County.
The public is encouraged to nominate any individual, business, organization, building, or project deserving recognition by March 25, 2022. Please complete the form located online at Historic Preservation Awards Nomination to submit deserving groups or individuals. The Historic Preservation Commission will review all nominations and select the award winners.
