HARRISBURG, PA – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland Women’s Basketball Team faced a challenging road game against Penn State Harrisburg, culminating in a 74-49 defeat. Despite a valiant effort, the Seahawks struggled to maintain momentum against the determined Nittany Lions.

The Nittany Lions extended their lead to 17 points in the fourth quarter, despite Mobray’s efforts to narrow the gap with consecutive layups, and Liszt’s three-pointer contributing to the Seahawks’ comeback attempt. Ultimately, the Nittany Lions’ sustained pressure ensured their victory.
Key performers for St. Mary’s included Mobray, who led the team with 16 points and five rebounds, and Liszt, who added 11 points and six rebounds to the effort. Howell was notable for her contribution on the boards, leading the team with 10 rebounds.
