In a concerning incident at Davis Middle School, a video recording has surfaced, showing a fight between two students within a classroom setting. According to the video, the altercation was seemingly allowed by a school staff member, as other students moved furniture aside to create space for the fight, while classmates spectated. This incident, which took place on March 15, was eventually interrupted and the students were separated by their peers.
Following the circulation of the video over the weekend, local law enforcement officers were alerted to the situation and have since launched an investigation into the matter. The Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office is being consulted to determine the appropriate criminal charges in relation to the event.
Simultaneously, Davis Middle School found itself at the center of another disturbing episode on the same day. This separate incident involved an aggressive confrontation where one school staff member assaulted another. The altercation was halted when a third staff member intervened and restrained the aggressor. Both of these incidents are currently under thorough investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about either incident to come forward and contact PFC Miedzinski at 301-609-3282 ext. 0668 to assist in the ongoing investigation. The school community and local residents are awaiting further updates as the investigations proceed.
