WALDORF, MD — A male student at Davis Middle School faces charges following an alleged assault on a female classmate, authorities reported. The incident, which took place on April 15 during class hours, is currently under investigation by the school’s designated resource officer.

The assault was reported to the school’s resource officer on April 16. According to the report, the male student is accused of inappropriately touching the female student. Following the initial investigation, the young suspect will be formally charged through a Juvenile Offense Report for assault.
