BOWIE, Md. — The Bowie Baysox, the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, overcame early deficits twice to secure a 6-4 win against the Erie SeaWolves on Wednesday at Prince George’s Stadium. This victory marks the Baysox’s third consecutive win and highlights their resilience in back-to-back games.

The SeaWolves initially took a 2-0 lead. Gage Workman opened the game with a walk, stole second, advanced to third on an error, and scored on a wild pitch. He later expanded Erie’s lead with a solo home run in the third inning.

The Baysox responded in the fourth inning. Collin Burns hit a two-run single following a pair of walks, tying the game at 2-2. Erie briefly regained the lead in the fifth inning, pushing their score to 4-2.

The tide turned in the sixth inning when Jud Fabian launched a solo home run on the first pitch, bringing the score to 4-3. The inning continued with Burns’ second hit of the day and subsequent walks, setting the stage for Ryan Higgins. In his Double-A debut, Higgins walked with the bases loaded, tying the game once again.

Cameron Weston, also making his Double-A debut, entered the game in the sixth inning and dominated the mound with four shutout innings and eight strikeouts. His performance secured his first win at this level.

The decisive moment came in the eighth inning when Dylan Beavers hit a two-out home run, his third of the season, giving Bowie their first lead of the game at 6-4. Weston maintained control in the ninth, stranding the tying run on base and sealing the win for Bowie.

The Baysox are scheduled to continue their six-game series against the SeaWolves on Thursday, with the first pitch at 6:35 p.m. ET.
