BUDDS CREEK, MD – Derick Quade, hailing from Mechanicsville, showcased his remarkable form by clinching victory in the 30-lap “Ernie Jones Memorial” at Potomac Speedway last Sunday. This triumph marked Quade’s second career win in the Late Model category and his third overall win at the track this season. Steering his powerful Longhorn No. 74, Quade’s victory was worth $3,022.

Quade, starting from the pole position, swiftly took the lead and maintained it throughout the race, demonstrating unmatched speed and control. Kenny Moreland secured the second position, followed by Kyle Hardy, Jamie Lathroum, and Donald Lingo Jr., rounding out the top five.

In the Modified Mafia touring series event, Todd Neiheiser from Panama City, Florida, achieved his first career Potomac feature win.
