The incident involved a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Tyvon Gray, 34, from Cheltenham, Maryland. Gray, the only occupant of the vehicle, was declared dead at the scene by emergency medical services from Charles County.
Troopers from the Maryland State Police La Plata Barrack were dispatched to the crash site shortly before 9:30 p.m. The accident occurred on westbound Livingston Road, east of Marbury Freeland Place.
