PRINCE FREDERICK, Md- The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation (CCPR) has announced an updated fee schedule for its programs, facilities, and services, set to take effect on July 1, 2024.

Since October 2019, CCPR has formalized the collection of fees through its Revenue and Fee Manual, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). This manual is reviewed and approved by the BOCC each fiscal year, ensuring a structured approach to fee collection and revenue allocation. The upcoming adjustments reflect this continuous evaluation process.

The new fee schedule includes modest increases in certain areas, driven by evolving community needs, rising product costs, and the introduction of new programs and services. These changes are intended to sustain the high quality of services provided by the department and to meet the growing demands of the community.

Residents can access the full FY 2025 Parks & Recreation Fee Schedule on the official Calvert County website at www.calvertcountymd.gov/CCPRFeeSchedule.
