The Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department responded to the incident after the blaze was discovered by homeowner Barbara Jones. Despite the absence of both smoke and fire alarms, the fire was extinguished before the fire department’s arrival. The firefighting team, consisting of 15 members, secured the scene swiftly ensuring no further damage or injuries occurred.
While there were no injuries reported, the fire resulted in an estimated loss of $183,000 to the property. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with officials focused on the area of origin to determine the preliminary cause.
