The Bowie Baysox recorded their fifth walk-off victory of the season with a nail-biting 8-7 win against the Erie SeaWolves in a 10-inning thriller Tuesday night at Prince George’s Stadium.
The game, marked by numerous lead changes, reached its climax in the bottom of the 10th inning. With the score tied at 7-7, Anthony Servideo started as the automatic runner on second base. Tavian Josenberger executed a sacrifice bunt, but an errant throw by Erie third baseman Luis Santana allowed Servideo to sprint home with the decisive run, sealing Bowie’s third walk-off win in their last four home games.

The contest was characterized by persistent shifts in momentum, witnessing eight lead changes throughout. Bowie initially took a 2-1 lead in the third inning courtesy of Reed Trimble’s 392-foot solo home run—his first in Double-A—which clocked an exit velocity of 105 mph. Trimble shone in his home debut, going 2-for-4.
Erie briefly reclaimed the lead in the fifth and sixth innings with pivotal hits, including a two-run double from Carlos Mendoza. However, Bowie responded each time, with significant contributions from Enrique Bradfield Jr. In his own home debut, Bradfield excelled, going 3-for-3 with a triple, double, scoring two runs, driving in two more, drawing two walks, and stealing two bases.
Bradley Brehmer, who pitched a scoreless 10th inning for Bowie, earned the win, improving his record to 4-3. Tyler Owens, who surrendered the unearned final run, took the loss for Erie, dropping to 1-1.
The intense matchup sets the stage for the continuation of the six-game series, which resumes Wednesday evening. Scheduled pitchers are Bowie’s Cameron Weston (5-7, 3.42 ERA) facing Erie’s Carlos Pena (6-6, 4.12 ERA).
Beyond the excitement on the diamond, the Baysox have lined up several promotional events for the remainder of the series, including “Woof Wednesday,” where fans can bring their dogs to the stadium, and various themed nights featuring giveaways ranging from mystery dog items to drinkware and special t-shirts. The week will cap off with “Family Fun Day” on Sunday, featuring pregame autographs and a postgame opportunity for all fans to run the bases.
