LA PLATA, Md. (Dec. 10, 2024) — University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center (UM Charles Regional) has expanded its Women’s Health team with the addition of Jordana Dalila Baez, WHNP-BC, a certified women’s health nurse practitioner. Baez now sees patients at the UM Charles Regional Medical Group – Women’s Health practice in White Plains, where she offers specialized care for a range of women’s health needs.
“We are thrilled to have Jordana join our team,” said Evalyne Bryant-Ward, MBA, DBA, CAPPM, Vice President of Ambulatory Services at UM Charles Regional. “Her expertise will significantly benefit our patients and the wider Charles County community.”
Baez brings four years of experience in gynecological care and a patient-centered approach. Her services include wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, and management of pelvic infections, breast conditions, and abnormal Pap smears. Previously, she worked at a Waldorf women’s health practice, where she led a team of three medical assistants in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
“Women’s health encompasses care for every stage of life,” Baez said. “My goal is to provide individualized, compassionate care that meets each patient’s unique needs. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I’m also able to connect with the growing Hispanic population in our community, ensuring they receive care without language barriers.”
Baez’s academic background reflects her commitment to excellence in women’s health. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Women’s Health from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Mass. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
