ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Maryland’s Atlantic Population Canada goose hunting season opens on Friday, December 20, offering hunters two segments to pursue this waterfowl species. The first segment runs from December 20 through January 4, 2025, with the second segment occurring January 15 through February 1, 2025.
The daily bag limit in Maryland’s Atlantic Population (AP) Canada Goose Hunting Zone is two geese per day, while the possession limit for all migratory game birds is three times the daily bag limit.
Waterfowl Hunting Tradition
