Recognizing the financial challenges this may impose, the Town is offering payment plans to provide flexibility and alleviate additional fees for residents.

Payment Plan Overview

Residents who enroll in a payment plan will avoid late fees and extra charges, provided the account is paid in full before the next billing cycle. There are two options available:

  1. Short-Term Payment Plan: Spread the bill across several days or weeks.
  2. Extended Payment Plan: Distribute payments over weeks or months.

Steps to Set Up a Payment Plan

  1. Review Your Bill: Before setting up a payment plan, carefully examine your utility bill, noting the total balance, due date, and any outstanding amounts.
  2. Determine Your Plan: Decide on the structure of your payment plan, including the initial payment amount and the dates for subsequent payments.
  3. Complete the Form: Fill out the payment arrangement form linked on the Town’s website. Town staff will verify the details to create a customized plan that meets your needs.

Agreement and Payment Options

After completing the form:

  • Agreement Document: The Town will email an agreement document for your review and signature. For those without email access, you can visit Town Hall in person to finalize the agreement.
  • Payment Methods:
    • Phone Payments: Call Town Hall at (410) 257-2230 to make payments via credit card or check.
    • Check Payments:
      • Visit Town Hall to make payments in person during business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
      • Mail checks to:

        Note: Mail payments at least three days before the due date to ensure timely processing.
      • Drop off checks in the payment box at the entrance side of Town Hall.
