Two juveniles have been charged in connection with a strong-armed robbery that occurred recently in Waldorf, Maryland. According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects allegedly stole a designer jacket from the victim during the incident.

On February 14, officers from the Neighborhood Enforcement Team and the Criminal Investigations Division served search warrants at two separate homes in Waldorf—one in the 11600 block of Medinah Street and another on Olympia Place. Authorities said these searches were part of an ongoing investigation into the robbery. Police recovered evidence connected to the incident at both locations.

The juveniles had been charged with strong-armed robbery prior to the execution of the search warrants. Due to their age, Maryland law requires juveniles to be charged via juvenile offense reports rather than adult criminal procedures. The suspects’ identities have not been released because they are minors.

In Maryland, strong-armed robbery refers to forcibly taking property directly from another person without using a weapon. It differs from armed robbery, which involves the use or threat of a weapon during the crime.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not disclosed the specific value of the stolen designer jacket or whether the victim sustained injuries.

Officer Gould is leading the investigation. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
