WALDORF, Md. — The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, a 23-year-old Waldorf resident last seen on March 31, 2025, at her Adams Court home. Reported missing by her boyfriend on April 2, Guerra’s case has taken a suspicious turn, with authorities now suspecting foul play due to unusual activity observed at her residence the following day. Detectives are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help locate her.
Guerra lived at the Adams Court residence with her boyfriend, the father of her two children, and several other individuals. After identifying concerning circumstances, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home. Though Guerra was not found, a red Toyota 4Runner believed to be linked to the case was present at the residence on April 2. Authorities are particularly interested in sightings of the vehicle between March 31 and April 2, especially in isolated or remote areas. Detective Burgess is leading the investigation and can be reached at 301-609-6494. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via Charles County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.

During the search, investigators uncovered federal documents belonging to Guerra’s boyfriend that appeared to be counterfeit. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to verify his identity. ICE confirmed the documents were fraudulent and determined he was not legally in the United States. ICE representatives took custody of him, though no further details about his status or potential involvement in Guerra’s disappearance have been released.
The investigation remains active, with detectives working to piece together additional leads. The sheriff’s office has promised updates as new information emerges but is withholding further details at this time to protect the integrity of the case. The discovery of suspicious activity and the boyfriend’s legal troubles have heightened concerns, though no definitive connection to Guerra’s disappearance has been publicly established.

The red Toyota 4Runner remains a focal point of the investigation. Authorities have not disclosed specific details about its potential role but have emphasized its presence at the home when Guerra was reported missing. Anyone with information about the vehicle’s movements during the critical three-day window is urged to contact law enforcement promptly.
ICE’s involvement underscores the broader implications of the case. The agency, tasked with enforcing immigration laws, routinely collaborates with local authorities when counterfeit documentation or illegal residency is uncovered, as reported by its official site. The boyfriend’s detention by ICE adds a layer of complexity to an already perplexing investigation.
For now, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office is focused on finding Guerra. The public’s assistance is deemed critical, and authorities are hopeful that tips will shed light on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
