The slight revenue decline reflects varied performance across the casinos, with Horseshoe and Ocean Downs showing notable gains, while Live! and Rocky Gap experienced larger drops. The increase in state contributions, particularly to the Education Trust Fund, underscores the casinos’ role in supporting public programs. Maryland’s gaming industry remains a significant economic driver, balancing entertainment with community benefits.
