The Blue Crabs rallied with key scoring in the fifth and sixth innings, overcoming an early Lexington lead. Jalen Miller earned the win for Southern Maryland, while Jose Acosta took the loss for Lexington, and Andre Scrubb secured the save.
The game, attended by 1,888 fans under overcast skies, saw Southern Maryland improve to 25-20, while Lexington fell to 21-24. The contest lasted 2 hours and 49 minutes, starting at 2:05 p.m. and ending at 4:54 p.m.
