WALDORF, Md. — The Mix Tape Concert Series will launch its 2025 season at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf on Saturday, July 5, kicking off Independence Day weekend with performances by four-time Billboard No. 1 country artist Eli Young Band and country rap sensation Blanco Brown. Announced on June 18, 2025, by the Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, the series promises a vibrant summer of music across three dates.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for the July 5 event, setting the stage for a high-energy celebration. “This weekend promises to amplify the celebration, bringing residents and visitors an unforgettable soundtrack to their Independence Day weekend,” said a spokesperson for the department. The lineup features Eli Young Band, known for hits like “Crazy Girl,” alongside Blanco Brown’s genre-blending “The Git Up.”



On August 9, alternative rock takes center stage with Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum band Plain White T’s, famous for “Hey There Delilah,” joined by special guests Milk Mountain. The series concludes September 6 with R&B legends Dru Hill, delivering classics like “In My Bed,” accompanied by Washington, D.C. native J. Holiday, known for “Bed.”
Ticket options cater to various preferences: general admission at $45 plus fees offers first-come, first-served stadium seating; VIP tickets at $100 plus fees include a premium reserved seat and access to a pre-show artist meet-and-greet in the Legends Club; and skybox suites, priced at $400 plus fees, provide a private, air-conditioned space for 15 guests with optional catering.
