LEONARDTOWN, Md., June 24, 2025 — The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival will close its 25th anniversary celebration with a Jazz Brunch and optional golf experience at Wicomico Shores Golf Course on July 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Held at the scenic Riverview Restaurant, the event features a buffet-style brunch and live music by the Sweet Potatoes jazz band, offering a relaxing finale to the four-day Mid-Atlantic jazz extravaganza.
Tickets for the Jazz Brunch are priced at $50 per person or $90 per couple, with optional golf add-ons of $50 for 18 holes with a cart or $27 for 9 holes. Tee times, available from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., must be scheduled by contacting Patrick Dugan at Wicomico Shores Golf Course at 301-884-4601. The festival, running July 10-13, 2025, in St. Mary’s County, celebrates its silver anniversary with a series of events showcasing jazz and Southern Maryland’s seafood. On July 10, “A Jazz at Sunset Affair on the Potomac” at Piney Point Lighthouse kicks off the festivities from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring live music by Higher Standards, local wines, and seafood hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $85 per person.
On July 11, a “Jazz in the Neighborhood” concert from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the museum lawn headlines the U.S. Navy Band, The Commodores, with an opening performance by the St. Mary’s Ryken Jazz Band. Food trucks and vendors will be available, enhancing the community vibe of this free event.
The Main Event on July 12, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Clement’s Island Museum, features performances by Casual Groove, Rebecca Jade, Andréa Lisa, and Chelsey Green. Attendees can enjoy seafood, Southern Maryland cuisine, vendor booths, and a free water taxi to St. Clement’s Island, with free museum admission included. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $95 for VIP.
On July 13, three exclusive two-hour jazz cruises on the Potomac River depart from St. Clement’s Island Museum, each offering food, beverages, and live music by Sax Appeal. Limited to 15 guests per cruise, tickets cost $85 per person.
Proceeds support the Friends of St. Clement’s Island & Piney Point Museums, aiding preservation efforts for St. Mary’s County’s historical sites. Major partners include the St. Mary’s County Museum Division and Arts Council.
