BOWIE, Md. — The Altoona Curve defeated the Bowie Baysox 4-2 in a Double-A Eastern League game on June 25, 2025, at Prince George’s Stadium. The Curve (32-38, 4th in EAS Southwest) snapped a close match with a two-run eighth inning, while the Baysox (31-38, 5th in EAS Southwest) fell despite tying the game in the seventh. Justin Meis (2-1, 2.59 ERA) earned the win, Walter Pennington (0-1, 2.60 ERA) took the loss, and Wilkin Ramos (1.82 ERA) secured his third save.
The Curve struck first in the third inning when Wyatt Hendrie hit a two-run homer off Nestor German, scoring Kervin Pichardo. The Baysox responded in the bottom of the third, with Alfredo Velásquez’s single driving in Luis Valdez, who had stolen second and advanced on a throwing error by Hendrie.
