The Potomac Speedway racing events drew a strong crowd, with standout performances in the Limited Late Model, Modifieds, Street Stock, Strictly Stock, and U Car divisions delivering thrilling competition for Southern Maryland fans.
In the 20-lap Limited Late Model Feature, Kyle Hardy of Stephens City, Virginia, became the first repeat winner of 2025. The 15-lap Modifieds race saw Ty Norder of Mooresville, North Carolina, drive the iconic Jerry Foster #5T Mod to victory lane. Starting from the pole, Norder led every lap, fending off last week’s winner, Joey Polevoy, to become the third different winner in the division this season. Polevoy took second, with Robert Kramer Jr., Ryan Toole, and Michael Ciezoblca rounding out the top five. The Potomac Speedway racing action showcased the division’s competitive depth.
In the Street Stock division, Kyle Randall became the fifth different winner of 2025 in a 15-lap race. Starting second, Randall outpaced rookie Dylan Alton, who finished second. Greg Morgan, Ricky Edmonds, and Dylan Penn completed the top five. Heat race wins went to Wayne Hartley and Matt Tarbox, highlighting the division’s parity in Potomac Speedway racing.
The Strictly Stock 15-lap event turned into a fierce three-car battle. Points leader Greg Mattingly secured his third win of the season, holding off defending champion Nabil Guffey and two-time winner Brandon Crenshaw. Shawn Howsare and Sarah Culver finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in a race that kept fans on edge. The Potomac Speedway racing crowd cheered as Mattingly strengthened his points lead.
