The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced Wednesday that HomeTeam Network will become the independent circuit’s exclusive digital broadcast partner beginning with the 2026 season, replacing the previous platform at half the subscription cost to fans.
The multi-year agreement covers live and on-demand streaming of all regular-season and postseason games for the league’s 10 clubs, including the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in Waldorf.
Atlantic League President Rick White said the partnership supports the circuit’s focus on affordable access to high-quality baseball.
“We can’t wait to begin the partnership with HomeTeam Network,” White said. “Our goal is to offer fans better-quality broadcasts that align with our efforts to provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment. In short, better baseball, better broadcasts, and better value. We look forward to working with HTN to achieve that mission.”
The new platform will deliver 50 percent savings compared with the league’s prior streaming service. Subscription options will include seasonal, monthly, and daily passes, with pricing and promotional details to be released before the 2026 campaign.
Every game will be produced by HomeTeam Network using AI-powered multi-camera systems, enhanced graphics, instant replay, split-screen views, and the league’s Automated Ball-Strike technology. Home and visiting radio-style play-by-play will accompany each broadcast.
Fans can access the streams at www.hometeamlive.com or through mobile apps, tablets, Roku devices, and Amazon Fire TV.
Tanner Goetz, co-founder of HomeTeam Network, called the Atlantic League a natural fit for the platform’s capabilities.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Atlantic League,” Goetz said. “The league has a remarkable history and has consistently been at the forefront of innovation in professional baseball. Leveraging HTN’s platform to elevate the fan viewing experience represents the next major step in advancing that tradition.”
The Atlantic League, entering its 28th season in 2026, operates as Major League Baseball’s premier Professional Partner League. Teams play a 126-game schedule from late April through September, followed by playoffs.
The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, based at Regency Furniture Stadium in Charles County since 2008, have reached the postseason eight times and won the Atlantic League championship in 2023.
Additional original programming and archival content are planned for the HomeTeam Network platform throughout the year.
Fans are advised to follow the Atlantic League, individual teams, and HomeTeam Network social media channels for announcements on subscription packages and launch promotions ahead of opening day 2026.
