Tramarie Mobray contributed 21 points on 7-of-field goals, seven assists, four rebounds, and three steals in 32 minutes, directing the offense and sparking multiple fast breaks. Off the bench, Keira Mason supplied seven points, six rebounds, and five assists, helping maintain composure during critical stretches. Karlee Mills paced the Lions with 17 points, while Hailey Guingrich recorded 16 points and 18 rebounds. The Lions committed 19 turnovers, which St. Mary’s turned into scoring opportunities.

This victory followed a pattern of competitive nonconference play for the Seahawks, who compete in NCAA Division III as members of the United East Conference. Recent results include a strong performance against Gallaudet University earlier in December, where the team demonstrated defensive pressure and efficient scoring. The program has emphasized academic excellence alongside athletics, with the women’s basketball team earning WBCA Academic Top 25 recognition in prior seasons for maintaining high team GPAs.

The game took place at the ARC Arena on the Baruch College campus, a venue that hosts various collegiate basketball events in New York City. This matchup was part of the New York Invitational, allowing St. Mary’s to face out-of-region opponents before conference play intensifies. The Seahawks return to action tomorrow, December 23, 2025, for their second game in the invitational against Rhodes College.

Team statistics highlighted the Seahawks’ edge in several categories: they held a 38–37 rebounding advantage, committed 11 turnovers compared to 19 for the Lions, and recorded nine steals to five. These metrics underscore the importance of ball security and defensive pressure in Division III women’s basketball, where games often hinge on execution in the final quarter.

The win provides momentum as St. Mary’s prepares to shift focus to United East Conference competition, where consistent performances from players like Liszt and Mobray will be key to building on their current 6–4 mark.
