Prince George’s County, Md. — A 39-year-old man from the Landover area is in custody in Virginia facing murder charges in connection with a triple fatal shooting early Saturday morning outside a banquet hall in Temple Hills.

The victims are 27-year-old Ronez Proctor of Waldorf, 33-year-old Pierre Davis of Washington, D.C., and 26-year-old Kevon Medley Williams of Washington, D.C. All three men died from gunshot wounds sustained in the incident.

Prince George’s County Police Department officers responded at approximately 2:10 a.m. on January 3, 2026, to the 4300 block of St. Barnabas Road following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found three adult males shot outside the banquet hall. The department’s Homicide Unit launched an investigation that included witness interviews, review of surveillance video, and ballistic evidence analysis.

Preliminary findings indicate that Antonio Lancaster was in the parking lot with Davis, both armed with firearms. Lancaster shot at Proctor and Medley Williams. Medley Williams and Davis then exchanged gunfire, resulting in each other’s deaths. Lancaster fled the scene after the shooting.

The PGPD Fugitive Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, located Lancaster in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Sunday, January 4, 2026. He was taken into custody by Fairfax County Police and transported to their department. Authorities expressed appreciation for the assistance from Fairfax County Police and the U.S. Marshals.

Lancaster faces charges of first-degree and second-degree murder in the death of Proctor, as well as charges related to shooting at Medley Williams. Detectives believe Lancaster and the decedents knew each other, but the motive for Lancaster initiating the shooting remains under investigation.

Lancaster is currently held in Virginia pending extradition to Prince George’s County.

The incident occurred outside a banquet hall in the Marlow Heights area of Temple Hills, within Prince George’s County, a jurisdiction that has implemented measures such as the Late Night Business Safety Plan Bill in February 2025. That legislation requires establishments operating between midnight and 4 a.m. to submit safety plans to police.

Police continue to seek information from the public. Anyone with details about the incident is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to determine the full sequence of events and any additional contributing factors.
