ST. MARYS CITY, Md. — Four St. Marys College of Maryland players scored in double figures as the Seahawks mens basketball team secured a 70-60 United East Conference road victory over Wilson College on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
St. Marys College (6-8 overall, 2-2 United East) never trailed in the contest, building an early 12-0 lead within the first six minutes and extending the margin to 20-5 with 9:40 remaining in the first half. The Seahawks maintained control throughout, entering halftime ahead 31-24.

Wilson College trimmed the deficit to five points twice in the opening period, including 23-18 at 3:34 on a layup by Armani Jones, but could not close the gap further. In the second half, consecutive baskets from sophomore James Crimaudo and junior guard Ben Kobil quickly restored a double-digit advantage less than three minutes after the break.
The Phoenix pulled within three points twice over the next 12 minutes but never overcame the visitors 15-point lead. Wilson forward Jalen Bowie hit a three-pointer to make it 56-53 with 5:34 left, prompting the Seahawks to respond with a decisive 14-7 closing run to seal the win.
St. Marys College dominated the glass with a season-high 54 rebounds, posting a plus-20 rebounding margin over Wilson. The Seahawks scored 42 of their 70 points in the paint compared to 18 for the Phoenix. St. Marys shot 42.9 percent from the field overall, improving to 45.2 percent in the second half.
Senior captain Jake Koverman led all scorers with 19 points, adding nine rebounds, a career-best six assists and three steals in 37 minutes. Sophomore James Crimaudo recorded his second career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, plus two assists and one block. First-year guard Korey Blair contributed 13 points, including three three-pointers, with two rebounds and one assist. First-year forward Evan Quintero added 10 points and five rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench.
Senior captain JD Salo grabbed 10 rebounds, scored five points and set a career high with four blocks.
For Wilson College, Bowie posted a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, but the Phoenix saw their two-game win streak end. Wilson shot 29.9 percent from the field and 24.2 percent from three-point range.
The Seahawks rebounded margin proved decisive, allowing them to control second-chance opportunities and limit Wilsons transition game. St. Marys turned 19 turnovers into manageable damage while forcing Wilson into 10 giveaways that led to six steals.
The victory improves St. Marys College to 2-2 in United East Conference play and marks a strong road performance against a competitive opponent. The Seahawks demonstrated balanced scoring, interior dominance and defensive rebounding to secure the result.
St. Marys College next travels to Lancaster Bible College (12-4, 4-0 United East) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with tipoff scheduled for 1 p.m. at Horst Athletic Center.
