LANCASTER, Pa. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s basketball team maintained its perfect record in United East Conference play with a decisive 77-48 victory over Lancaster Bible College on Saturday afternoon at the Horst Athletic Center.
The Seahawks improved to 12-5 overall and 6-0 in conference action, while Lancaster Bible fell to 7-12 overall and 5-2 in the United East. St. Mary’s controlled the contest from the start, building a 24-10 lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 45-18 at halftime. The margin reached as many as 32 points during the second half, and the Seahawks never trailed.

Keira Mason paced all scorers with 23 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field and secured a game-high 13 rebounds for a double-double in 27 minutes. Olivia Liszt contributed 13 points, going 5-of-9 from the field with two three-pointers, and added three steals in 31 minutes. Samantha Blaylock came off the bench to score 11 points, connecting on three three-pointers in 18 minutes. Saffiyah Gibson added eight points, four assists, and three rebounds in 13 minutes, while Tramarie Mobray recorded six points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
St. Mary’s shot 46.4 percent from the field and limited Lancaster Bible to 34.0 percent shooting. The Seahawks dominated the boards 44-28, scored 36 points in the paint, generated 20 fast-break points, and received 53 points from their bench players. The team committed 11 turnovers while forcing 16 from the Chargers.
Lancaster Bible received 16 points from Isabella Eufemia and 11 from Emily Wilson. The Chargers shot 18.8 percent from three-point range and converted 56.3 percent of their free throws.
The victory marked another strong showing for St. Mary’s in United East competition, where the team has outscored opponents by significant margins through six games. The Seahawks’ balanced attack featured efficient interior scoring, perimeter shooting from reserves, and defensive pressure that disrupted Lancaster Bible’s rhythm early.
St. Mary’s returns to action Tuesday, January 20, when the Seahawks host Salisbury University in a non-conference matchup, pausing United East play. The game provides an opportunity to test the team’s depth and preparation against a familiar regional opponent before resuming conference competition.
This road win reinforces St. Mary’s position atop the United East standings and highlights the program’s consistency in executing on both ends of the floor. The Seahawks’ rebounding edge and bench production proved decisive in extending their winning streak in league games. No injuries or lineup changes were reported from the contest.
