The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s basketball team extended its unbeaten United East Conference record to 7-0 with a 66-49 road victory over Penn College on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Bardo Gym in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The Seahawks improved to 14-5 overall while Penn College fell to 14-6 overall and 6-2 in conference play. St. Mary’s dominated early, limiting the Wildcats to six points in the first quarter and building a 37-23 halftime lead. The margin never dropped below double digits in the second half as the Seahawks controlled the pace and defensive pressure throughout.

Three players led St. Mary’s with 15 points each. Tramarie Mobray shot 7-of-12 from the field, adding six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 28 minutes. Olivia Liszt went 5-of-6 overall, including a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range, with three rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes. Keira Mason contributed 15 points off the bench on 6-of-10 shooting, grabbing 10 rebounds and adding two steals in 20 minutes for a double-double.

Rayna Miller posted a double-double with a game-high 10 rebounds, six points, two assists, and one block. Sam Blaylock scored eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, including two three-pointers, in 12 minutes. Skylar Woodyard added six points, four rebounds, and three steals.

St. Mary’s shot 41.3 percent from the field (26-of-63), including 41.2 percent from three-point range. The Seahawks outrebounded Penn College 41-31, forced 17 turnovers, and recorded 14 steals. Penn College shot 33.9 percent overall and made only four three-pointers, with Raeanna Andreas leading the team with seven points. Mia Patterson and Gigi Parlante combined for eight rebounds.

The win reinforces St. Mary’s position atop the United East Conference standings as the team continues a strong season. Located in St. Mary’s City in Southern Maryland, the college draws regional talent and competes in the conference against other mid-Atlantic programs. The program’s defensive effort and balanced scoring have been key factors in its conference success.

The Seahawks return to action Tuesday, January 27, 2026, hosting Penn State Harrisburg at MPOARC Arena in St. Mary’s City. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
