The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s basketball team secured a commanding 78-47 win over Penn State Harrisburg in United East Conference action Feb. 2, 2026, at the Michael P. O’Brien Athletics and Recreation Center Arena in St. Mary’s City.
The Seahawks dominated from the opening tip, building a 19-7 lead after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout. They shot 45.9 percent from the field (28-of-61), including 1-of-12 from three-point range, and converted 21-of-33 free throws. St. Mary’s outrebounded the Lions 38-32, dished out 16 assists, forced 16 turnovers leading to 31 points, and blocked four shots. Bench players contributed 23 points in the balanced effort.

Olivia Liszt paced the Seahawks with a game-high 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting and 5-of-6 free throws, adding five rebounds, one assist, and three steals. Tramarie Mobray scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting with four assists, one steal, and three rebounds. Rayna Miller provided 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting and two rebounds. Keira Mason and Saffiyah Gibson each added seven points; Mason grabbed six rebounds and one assist, while Gibson went 5-of-8 at the line with one rebound, one steal, and one assist.
Penn State Harrisburg struggled offensively, shooting 23.9 percent from the field (11-of-46), including 4-of-12 from three and 21-of-29 free throws. The Lions committed turnovers that fueled St. Mary’s transition game, with the Seahawks outscoring them 40-10 in the paint and 13-7 on fast breaks. Mikayla Coleman led Penn State Harrisburg with 20 points on 6-of-16 shooting, including 3-of-9 from three, plus five rebounds and one steal.
The victory improved St. Mary’s record to 16-5 overall and 9-0 in United East play, reinforcing their position atop the conference standings. Penn State Harrisburg fell to 7-15 overall and 6-4 in conference.
Attendance was 235, with referees Jasmine Holmes, Emily Murphy, and Kristie Watkins-Day officiating the 7 p.m. contest.
This win follows strong United East performances, including a 92-28 rout of Keystone on Jan. 31, highlighting the Seahawks’ defensive intensity and depth in conference games. The team has emphasized balanced contributions and pressure defense in recent outings.
St. Mary’s returns to action Feb. 4, 2026, traveling to Notre Dame (Md.) for another United East matchup.
