Maryland’s six casinos generated $148,493,335 in combined revenue from slot machines and table games during February 2026, a decline of $6,656,962 or 4.3% from February 2025, according to data released by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

The February performance contributed $63,635,265 to the state, down $1,590,153 or 2.4% year-over-year. Of that amount, $45,924,029 went to the Education Trust Fund, a decrease of $1,170,556 or 2.5% compared to the prior year. Revenue supports education, local communities hosting casinos, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

Through the first eight months of Fiscal Year 2026 (July 2025 through February 2026), total casino gaming revenue reached $1,264,440,712, down 2.2% from the same period in FY2025. State contributions stood at $543,157,515, a 1.4% year-over-year drop.

Southern Maryland benefits notably from MGM National Harbor and Live! Casino & Hotel, the two highest-revenue properties in the state. Their combined February output exceeded $116 million, underscoring the region’s role in driving statewide gaming totals despite the overall dip. Declines at these major venues contributed significantly to the monthly decrease, while smaller properties in other regions showed gains.

The February results follow a pattern of modest year-to-date softness in FY2026, with revenue and contributions trailing prior-year figures amid competitive pressures and economic factors.
