Officers found the victim, identified as Jakale Deshon Norman, 26, of Waldorf, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He had been standing outside a residence when an unknown suspect approached in a dark-colored SUV and fired several shots, striking him. Fire and EMS crews provided aid on scene, but Norman was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
Authorities stated the incident does not appear random, suggesting a targeted motive rather than a random act of violence.
