Extreme boat docking competitions featuring the Chesapeake Cowboys are scheduled for Lusby and Solomons Island in Calvert County this summer and fall bringing high speed waterfront festivals to Southern Maryland.

The first event takes place Sunday August 23 2026 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 1200 White Sands Drive in Lusby. Food and drinks will be available from Vera’s Restaurant with free parking. Tickets are sold at the gate for this official Chesapeake Cowboys stop.

The second event follows Sunday September 20 2026 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Watermen’s Wharf 168 Williams Street in Solomons Island. It includes competitive boat docking contests across divisions with cash prizes and trophies for work boats and charter boats. Live music food and beer vendors plus sponsor exhibits round out the day. Free parking is offered though early arrival is recommended. Tickets are available at the gate.
