R/C Lexington Exchange Movies 12 in California is offering affordable family fun this summer with its popular Summer Movie Series.

Tickets are just $1 for Tuesday and Wednesday morning shows at 10 a.m. from June 16 through August 5. Sensory-friendly screenings will be available for every film.

The lineup features eight new and returning family favorites: • Smurfs — June 16 & 17 • How to Train Your Dragon (live-action) — June 23 & 24 • Dog Man — June 30 & July 1 • David — July 7 & 8 • The Wild Robot — July 14 & 15 • Bad Guys 2 — July 21 & 22 • The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Search for SquarePants — July 28 & 29 • Minions: The Rise of Gru — August 4 & 5

The theater is encouraging families across Southern Maryland to mark their calendars and check the website soon for tickets, which go on sale in advance of each week’s shows.
