St. Mary’s County’s three county-sponsored farmers markets are now open for the 2026 season, giving residents easy access to fresh, locally produced food and goods while supporting area farmers, watermen and small businesses.
The markets provide a wide variety of products including seasonal produce, locally raised meats and seafood, flowers, baked goods, handmade items, local wines and spirits, and more. They serve as important community hubs where residents of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties can connect directly with the people who grow and harvest their food.

In a region known for its agricultural heritage and Chesapeake Bay seafood, these markets help keep money circulating locally and give families access to fresh, high-quality products.
St. Mary’s County Government encourages all residents to visit the markets and support the local producers who contribute so much to the community’s character and economy.
