ANNAPOLIS — In-person early voting for Maryland’s Gubernatorial Primary Election begins Thursday, June 11.
Early voting runs daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Thursday, June 18. Voters in line by 8 p.m. can cast a ballot. A complete list of early voting centers is available at vote.md.gov/vote2026.
“Early voting is a secure and convenient option for casting your vote in the primary election,” said Jared DeMarinis, State Administrator of Elections. “We typically experience strong turnout for early voting, so I urge every Marylander considering this option to plan ahead.”
Marylanders can register to vote when they cast a ballot during early voting or on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 23. Voters must bring a document that proves where they live.
Early voting is one of three options to cast a ballot. The others are mail-in voting and in-person voting on Primary Election Day. Additional information is available at vote.md.gov/vote2026 or through the free Go Vote Maryland! app.
Southern Maryland residents can participate at early voting centers in their counties. Planning ahead helps avoid lines and ensures a smooth voting experience.
