WALDORF, Md. — Two men were shot early Saturday morning at Friendly Tavern & Liquor in the 3000 block of Leonardtown Road in Waldorf.

Charles County police responded to the business at approximately 2:14 a.m. on June 20, 2026, after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found two male victims.

The first victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and was transported to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The second victim sustained a minor injury to the lower body and refused medical treatment.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police have not released information about possible suspects or a motive at this time.
