PRINCE FREDERICK — Calvert County Government is inviting local businesses and vendors to an upcoming information session designed to demystify the county’s contract procurement process.
The free “Pathways to Partnership: How to Do Business with Calvert County Government” event is scheduled for Friday, July 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the County Administration Building, 150 Main Street, in the Mill Creek Conference Room on the fourth floor. Vendors may attend in person or virtually, though in-person space is limited and registration is required.
The session will provide practical insights for both new and experienced vendors interested in contracting opportunities with the county. Attendees will meet members of the procurement team, learn how the team supports county departments and vendors, and receive an overview of contracted services and major purchasing categories. A walkthrough of the full procurement lifecycle — from solicitation to award — will also be featured.
Participants will learn how to locate new bidding opportunities and will be introduced to upcoming vendor training sessions and resources aimed at helping businesses compete successfully.
