WALDORF, Md. — Lottery officials are encouraging residents to check their Bonus Match 5 tickets after a $50,000 winning ticket was sold in Charles County.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Dash-In located at 2007 Smallwood Drive in Waldorf. For selling the top-tier prize, the retailer will receive a $500 bonus.

The winning numbers for the Monday, July 13 drawing were 10, 17, 22, 25, and 38. The Bonus Ball was 12.

Bonus Match 5 drawings are held seven evenings a week. Tickets cost as little as $1 for a single play, with discounts available for multiple plays. Players select five numbers from 1 to 39. Five winning numbers are drawn, followed by a Bonus Ball from the remaining 34 numbers. Matching all five wins the $50,000 top prize. Smaller prizes range from $2 to $600.

Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the Maryland Lottery website. Prizes over $25,000 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, either in person by appointment or by mail.

This latest win adds to the excitement of Maryland’s Bonus Match 5 game, which continues to provide players across the state with opportunities for significant prizes. Residents who purchased tickets in Waldorf are encouraged to check their tickets immediately.
