LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Hyatt Commercial announced Monday that Courtney Phipps has joined the firm’s Southern Maryland office in Leonardtown as Senior Sales and Leasing Associate, bringing nearly two decades of broad real estate experience to support the company’s continued regional expansion.
Phipps enters the role with a comprehensive background spanning commercial and residential transactions, title services, sales, leasing, acquisitions and property management. Her diverse expertise allows her to guide clients through the entire real estate lifecycle — from initial negotiations and contract execution through settlement and long-term ownership.
Throughout her career, Phipps has represented a wide range of stakeholders, including property owners, investors, landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and business owners. This client-first perspective has honed her ability to deliver practical solutions amid complex deals.

Most recently, Phipps expanded her portfolio into property management, enabling her to provide end-to-end support that encompasses sales, leasing, acquisitions and ongoing asset oversight.
“I’ve always been passionate about helping clients navigate every stage of their real estate journey,” Phipps said. “Joining Hyatt Commercial allows me to combine my experience with a respected team that shares my commitment to exceptional service and the continued growth of Southern Maryland.”
The addition aligns with Hyatt Commercial’s strategic growth in the region. Justin Mullen, president of Hyatt Commercial, expressed enthusiasm for the hire.
“We are excited to welcome Courtney to our growing Southern Maryland team,” Mullen said. “She embodies the type of commercial real estate professional we are seeking as we continue to expand our presence in the region. Courtney has built her reputation through years of experience, deep local market knowledge, and a relationship-driven approach to serving her clients. By combining her boots-on-the-ground expertise with Hyatt Commercial’s regional platform, resources, and network, we are confident she will be able to deliver an even greater level of service and value to the clients and communities she serves.”
Southern Maryland’s commercial real estate market continues to evolve amid population growth, infrastructure improvements and economic development in Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s counties. Professionals like Phipps, with deep local ties and multifaceted experience, play a key role in connecting businesses, investors and property owners with opportunities that drive community progress.
Beyond her professional achievements, Phipps enjoys spending time with her husband, son and three cats. An avid reader and writer, she is currently working on her own novels and draws inspiration from classic films and compelling storytelling.
