Two Edgewater residents are facing narcotics distribution charges after Anne Arundel County police executed a search warrant at a Londontown Road home last week, seizing cocaine, suspected fentanyl, cash, and drug packaging materials.
Southern District detectives searched the residence in the 700 block of Londontown Road at approximately noon on Aug. 28, according to police. The search turned up roughly 80 grams of suspected powder cocaine, about 1.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and approximately 9.7 grams of suspected heroin or fentanyl in 18 capsules. Detectives also recovered four digital scales, four mobile phones, drug packaging material, and $908 in cash.
Roger Robert Nolan III, 38, and Katherine Jean Vaughan, 39, both of Edgewater, were taken into custody and charged with crimes related to the sale and distribution of narcotics, police said.
The specific block has drawn law enforcement attention before. Records show a man with the same first and last name was previously charged years ago with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine at an address on the same stretch of Londontown Road, though the significant age discrepancy between that report and the current case means it cannot be confirmed with certainty whether it involves the same individual.
