Today, I had the pleasure of recognizing St. Mary’s own Terese Laney, and her mother and father Sheli and Mike Laney on the floor of the House of Delegates. When she was 6 years old, Terese applied the valuable fire safety lessons she learned from the 2nd District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad and saved her younger brother, Alexander, and dog Jack from the fire.
