The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners recognized the steadfast dedication of the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department for providing 24-hour-a-day fire protection and services to the citizens of Calvert County.

“It’s a pleasure to live in a county where so many people give so much of themselves,” said Commissioner Vice President Tom Hejl. “To think of how much you provide in terms of hours is amazing.” Pictured with the board to accept the proclamation and plaque on behalf of the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department is Volunteer Assistant Chief Brian Ficke.
