PABA Parents is hosting a meeting on Wednesday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. at CCSO Headquarters in the first-floor classroom. Doors open at 6 p.m. This is a free support group for parents who have a child or loved one addicted to drugs. Most attendees have children who are addicted to heroin or opiates, but there are others who are addicted to meth, cocaine and or alcohol.
The group consists of parents who are in the early stages of discovering an addiction, those who have been in this a while, and parents who have lost children to overdose. PABA hosts meetings on a monthly basis throughout the southern Maryland region and all meetings are completely confidential.
