From the North Beach VFD:
At 0800 this morning units were dispatched to 5230 Breezy Point Rd at Breezy Point Marina for the report of a structure fire. Engine 12(Sanders) and Tower 1( Capt Ortenzo) responded. Chief 1B(Morrison) and Sgt 1(T.Mills) arrived to find a 60×30 lightweight metal building fully involved. Chief 1A(C.Mills) arrived and assumed command. Engine 61 and Engine 12 arrived and began to make an exterior attack. Units from Huntingtown, North Beach, Dunkirk, Prince Frederick, St Leonard, Deale, and Harwood-Lothian operated for approximately 2 hours to control the fire and pull apart the debris all while working in high standing water. Unfortunately it was a total loss but no exposures were affected.
North Beach VOLUNTEERS also handled a Priority 1 medical dispatched immediately after the fire.
