On July 27, 2005, at approximately 2:57 p.m., officers responded to the wooded area off Cross Street near Wasena Avenue in Baltimore where two juveniles had located human remains while playing in the area. The scene was secured and homicide detectives responded to investigate. The recovered remains were identified as a nineteen to twenty-three year old white female, approximately 5’05 to 5’08 tall with dark reddish or brown curly hair.
