Celebrate our favorite museum mammal
Celebrate everyone’s favorite museum mammal during OtterMania at the Calvert Marine Museum on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Enjoy “otterly” outrageous activities, face painting and meet the otters: Chumley, Chessie Grace and Calvert. Museum admission applies; FREE for CMM members. $5 fee requested for face painting.
Ideal for families, OtterMania invites kids to dance the “Swim” with the otter mascot, learn how the otters are trained, and listen to otter tales from an “otterly” terrific story teller. “Meet the Otter Keeper” sessions will begin at 1:15 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The Museum Store is stocked full of “otter” merchandise including wearables, toys, puppets and mugs. Museum members save 10% in the store every day, and 20% off on the 20th of every month.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, military with valid I.D. AAA, and AARP members, and $4.00 for children ages 5 – 12; children under 5 and museum members are always admitted free.
