Currently, there are three positions open including: Calvert County Farmer, Prince George’s County Farmer, and a Young Farmer representative from one of the 5 Southern Maryland counties (Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s).
The Commission typically meets from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the first Monday of each month, from January to April, and the first Wednesday of each month, from May to December, in Hughesville, MD.
To be considered, submit all pertinent contact information with a brief paragraph describing your background and relationship to the agricultural community to Karyn Owens at kowens@smadc.com. Please respond by May 31st, 2018. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis as positions become available.
