The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism is now offering the Charles County RecPASS, a new annual membership program beginning in July. RecPASS is an annual membership that allows for unlimited visits to any drop-in programs at school-based community centers, the Port Tobacco Recreation Center, and Elite Gymnastics and Recreation Center. A pool membership may be added for unlimited use of a Charles County Recreation Division operated aquatic facility, during open swim hours.

The RecPASS can be purchased as an individual, couple, or family pass.  Drop-in activities and programs may include basketball, volleyball, pickleball, table tennis, open swim, and more. Program offerings vary based on location.

Participants without a RecPASS membership can pay a daily drop-in fee or purchase a 10-visit punch-cards to take part in their desired drop-in program. RecPASS is not valid for instructor led classes such as water aerobics, dance classes, swim lessons, or instructional sports programs.

RecPASS members will receive a key fob when purchasing their membership, which will be linked to the Recreation Division’s registration software. At each visit, the key fob will be scanned for admission bringing up your photo and electronically signing-in to the facility for admission.
