CONGRATULATIONS!! The Wastewater Treatment Plant won the Wastewater System of the year for 2018! This honor goes out to the staff of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Public Works Department for the Town of Chesapeake Beach. The recently completed Enhanced Nutrient Removal upgrade improves the quality and consistency of the treatment process for years to come. They look forward to continuously providing the same high-quality system operations for the Town and the Chesapeake Bay and no doubt they will!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All candidates for public office who displayed political signs during the recent primary are reminded to please remove them if you have not done so,as per Town Code §290-22, Section F (1) (j) Temporary signs announcing a campaign, drive, or event of a civic, philanthropic, educational, or religious organization. Such signs shall not exceed 12 square feet in area and shall be removed not more than five days after the event. Temporary signs shall not be permitted for more than 60 days per year. Signs must be removed by July 31st to avoid Code Enforcement citation.
2018 Moonlight Cruises – The Town of Chesapeake Beach invites you to spend a summer evening cruising aboard “Miss Lizzy,” docked at Rod ‘N’ Reel Marina.Miss Lizzy is sixty-five feet long and carries 65 passengers.We are offering one more cruise date for Summer 2018; Friday, August 25 from 7 – 9 pm. The cost is $32 per person. Although children are welcome, these cruises are more suited for adults. July 28 (NEW DATE) – Oyster transfer from Fishing Creek to Old Rock Reef— 10 AM – Noon @ Abner’s Boat Yard. CBOCS needs 25 volunteers to unload oyster cages, scrape cages, deliver oysters via boat to the reef in the bay and measure oyster survivability rate. GREAT EVENT FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO EARN SOME COMMUNITY SERVICE CREDITS. Pier cage growers please bring your cages. Rain date is August 4.
