National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

The 2018 National Night Out annual observance will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

The Town of North Beach is celebrating National Night Out by hosting a fun, family night on the waterfront. From 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, gather at the waterfront for DJ music on the pavilion, free hot dogs, giveaways and to browse exhibits. There will be visits from the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department, the Maryland State Police and the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department who will have the Drunk Driving Simulator.
