On September 15 and 16, the District New Music Coalition is sponsoring a weekend of events at Georgetown University, called New Music DC . They have invited David Froom, professor of music, onto their panel on the subject of music commissioning.
Froom’s music has been commissioned widely by prominent national organizations, as well as international ensembles and soloists. He has been invited to bring his experience and expertise to this panel.
